What is the iPECS 1010i?
The iPECS 1010i is an entry-level IP phone designed by Ericsson-LG for small businesses and hybrid teams. Despite its compact footprint, it offers essential call handling tools, four programmable keys, and seamless integration with iPECS Cloud and on-premise systems.
Ideal for everyday users who need reliable voice calls, voicemail access, and simple transfer functionality.

iPECS 1010i Button Overview
Here’s what each key on your 1010i handset does:
- Handset & Dial Pad – Make or receive calls.
- Ring/Message Indicator – LED alert for incoming or missed calls.
- LCD Display – Call info, menu options, and soft key prompts.
- Soft Keys – Dynamic options based on call status or menu.
- Navigation & OK Key – Scroll and select items in the menu.
- Volume Button – Adjust ring, speaker, or handset volume.
- Speaker Button – Toggle hands-free speaker mode.
- MSG (Message) – Access voicemail and message options.
- Mute – Silence your microphone during a call.
- DND – Activate “Do Not Disturb” mode.
- Trans (Transfer) – Transfer calls or program features.
- Hold – Place a call on hold and resume later.
- Dir (Directory) – Quickly access saved numbers or speed dials.
Common Call Functions
📞 Answering a Call
- Lift the handset.
- To answer a call on another extension, press the flashing flex key then lift the handset.
📲 Making an External Call
- Lift the handset.
- Press a free line key or dial 9 for an outside line.
- Dial the number.
🔁 Transferring a Call
- Press Transfer, dial the extension or external number.
- Hang up to complete or speak to announce the call.
- Press Transfer again to return to the caller if needed.
🔕 Activating Do Not Disturb
- Press the DND button once to activate.
- Press again to deactivate.
⛔ Rejecting a Call
- When a call rings, press DND to send the caller a busy tone.

📁 Call Pick-Up
- Group Pick-Up: Dial 566
- Specific Extension: Dial *77 + extension number
⏸ Placing a Call on Hold
- Press the Hold button.
- Press again to resume the call.
🔄 Redial / Call Log
- Press LOG, scroll using the navigation key.
- Use SEND to redial or DETAIL for call info.
📧 Voicemail Access
- Press the MSG button.
- Select:
- Call back
- Missed calls
- Voicemail
- Internal SMS

Programming & Settings
🔀 Call Forwarding
- Dial 501, then:
1 – Forward All
2 – Forward on Busy
3 – Forward on No Answer
4 – Forward on Busy/No Answer - Enter extension or destination.
- Disable forwarding with 502.
📞 Ad-Hoc Conference Call (3-Way)
- Call first person > Press flex key > Call second person > Press same flex key twice to join calls.
📂 Speed Dial & Directory
- Press Dir, enter name (e.g. press 5 twice for “K”).
- Use OK and navigation key to select and dial.
🔒 Parking a Call
- Press Transfer, dial #601 or your assigned park key.
- To retrieve: Dial the park code or press the park key.

Can I mute my microphone?
Yes — press the Mute button during a call.
How do I know if my phone is in DND mode?
