Call Handling Basics

📞 Answering a Call

  • Lift the handset or press the Speaker button
  • Use the PICKUP soft key or flashing Flex key to answer other extensions

📲 Making a Call

  • External: Dial 9 + number (handsfree or handset)
  • Internal: Dial the extension or press a programmed Flex key

🔁 Transferring a Call

  • Press Transfer or TRANS soft key during the call
  • Dial the number or use a Flex key
  • Announce the call or hang up to complete the transfer

🔇 Rejecting a Call

  • Press DND during ringing to send a busy tone

Advanced Features

🔕 Do Not Disturb (DND)

  • Toggle on/off with the DND button

Note: not available on attendant handsets

🔂 Call Forwarding

Press right arrow until FWD soft key appears:

  • 1 – Forward All
  • 2 – Forward on Busy
  • 3 – Forward on No Answer
  • 4 – Forward on Busy/No Answer
  • 5 – Disable (press #)

📞 Ad-Hoc Conference (3-Way)

  • Call first party
  • Press Flex key
  • Call second party
  • Press same Flex key twice to join the calls

📂 Directory Lookup

  • Press Dir, type initials (e.g. K = press 5 twice)
  • Use arrows to select > Press OK or Send

Voicemail Access & Settings

📧 Accessing Voicemail

  • Press MSG, then:
    1 – Call back
    2 – Missed calls
    3 – Voicemail
    4 – Internal SMS

🎧 Voicemail Options

Once in the voicemail menu:

  • 1 – New messages
  • 2 – Saved messages
  • 3 – Urgent messages
  • 4 – Send/manage greetings
  • 5 – Personal settings
  • 8 – Set greeting or password
  • 0 – Disconnect

⏸ Parking a Call

  • Press Transfer, dial #601 or press assigned Park Flex key
  • Hang up. To retrieve, dial the park code or press the Park key

  • Use DETAIL to view more info

🕓 Camp On

  • If the line is busy:
    • Press * to wait
    • Press MSG to request callback
